Rick Stine was appointed Senior Vice President, Components in
February of 2011. Stine is responsible for leading the achievement
of the sector’s performance objectives, customer satisfaction and
business development activities. He reports directly to the President
and CEO of StandardAero and is a member of the company’s
Executive Leadership Team.
StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company with nearly
$1.4 billion in annual revenue, specializes in engine maintenance, repair
and overhaul, and nose-to-tail services that include airframe, interior
refurbishments and paint for business and general aviation, air transport,
and military aircraft. The company, part of the DAE Engineering division,
forms a global services network of 12 primary facilities in the U.S.,
Canada, Europe, Singapore and Australia, with an additional 14 regionally
located service and support locations.
Prior to joining StandardAero, Stine served as Senior Vice President,
Technical Operations for HEICO Corporation where he was responsible
for the technical operations of the aerospace companies within HEICO
Aerospace. Prior to HEICO, Rick spent 12 years at General Electric
Aircraft Engines where he served as team leader and design engineer on
the Advanced Tactical Fighter demonstrator program, and led a NASA
industry team consisting of members from Pratt and Whitney, Boeing,
NASA, and GE Aircraft Engines.
Stine has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Youngstown State University, a Master of Science degree in
Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a
Master of Science in Business Management from the Krannert School
of Business at Purdue University.
