Jack Lawless is the Chief Operating Officer of StandardAero and President
of Associated Air Center in Dallas, Texas. Lawless was named Associated
Air Center’s President in April 2009. In both positions, he reports directly
to the President and CEO of StandardAero and is a member of the
company’s Executive Leadership Team.
StandardAero, a Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) company with nearly
$1.4 billion in annual revenue, specializes in engine maintenance, repair
and overhaul, and nose-to-tail services that include airframe, interior
refurbishments and paint for business and general aviation, air transport,
and military aircraft. The company, part of the DAE Engineering division,
forms a global services network of 12 primary facilities in the U.S.,
Canada, Europe, Singapore and Australia, with an additional 14 regionally
located service and support locations.
Prior to his most recent roles as StandardAero’s COO and President,
Associated Air Center, Lawless served as Executive Vice President, Global
Supply Chain for DAE Engineering & Manufacturing, a position he held
since April of 2007. With more than 24 years of experience in various
areas of Program Management, ISC and Sourcing, Lawless began his
career with AlliedSignal in Teterboro, New Jersey in 1983 after serving in
the United States Air Force. He then transferred to Towson, Maryland to
launch the Government Electronic Systems Circuit Card Assembly Center
of Excellence. He led the team that created a totally cellularized factory,
which delivered benchmark cycle times and material/inventory practices.
After three years in Towson, Lawless left AlliedSignal and joined General
Cable Corp. where he held several Plant Manager positions. While at
General Cable, he completely cellularized two facilities achieving
benchmark results within the industry, an accomplishment he achieved
while overseeing all of General Cable’s Global Assembly facilities. In 2003,
immediately prior to joining StandardAero, he was with Honeywell where
he held the positions of VP, Aerospace Global Sourcing, and VP, OEM,
leading 38 global factories.
